Behind the bright lights of Chinatown is great value dim sum, while Little India is a sensation for the senses. Wander past the pastel-painted facades of Malay-dominated Geylang Seari for a taste of days gone by, then stop off at the Colonial-style Raffles Hotel, birthplace of the Singapore Sling cocktail.

First of all, public transportation is clean and very compatible with google maps (although it gets confused if you try walking anywhere). Everyone is super friendly and helpful; one guy actually chased us down out of the MRT station onto the street once he realized he gave us incorrect directions.
There are of course a million things to do and see. It was all beautiful and made for fantastic pictures. Just look up activities through booking.com/Klook.com (Headout is a pain) and it will be worth your time.
Food was amazing! There are so many different types of cuisines at your disposal with matched or slightly lower rates in USD. There are 7Elevens and vending machines everywhere with lower prices and great snacks/drinks.
WARNING: If you have thick thighs, do NOT wear shorter than mid-thigh shorts! Unless you are used to intense humidity and heat, you'll be uncomfortable and chafe.

It was one of the best experience I had so far.
It was one of the best experience I had so far. The beauty of the city, friendliness of the people, safety and clean. You can find everything: old and new. Food markets - you can eat and eat again and again. A lot of perfect specialty coffee places. Very practical to use public transport, and helps to reach different areas of the city.

Singapore is a very clean, very well presented and safe city. We stayed central to Fort Canning, Orchard road, Bay Marina and a little further to Gardens at the Bay.
We walked everywhere but took the local bus on the odd occasion it was wet, this was again clean and easy to use.
The gardens and flower dome were fantastic and along with the Cloud Forest made a great day out.
Shopping is great and the malls are a sight to see.
No complaints from me...

I am a native-born Singaporean who is currently living in Paris. Went back to SG this time to visit family and settle some stuff. Singapore is a great place to visit, always in motion, always with something new and exciting. Saying that, Spore is very different from the rest of SE Asia, and caters more to the chic traveller, with a penchant for luxury and gracious living. Doing Spore on a shoestring budget will be next to impossible, even if you try to live like the Sporeans- the cost of living is very high (along with the salaries!), only public transport can be considered ‘cheap’, or rather, cheaper than in Europe. Visit Spore for a real East meets West experience, and enjoy the ‘Rojak’ of different foods, cultures, languages that make up this unique city state. In addition, security guaranteed, even if you’re a woman walking around alone at 3 am! If you’re a foodie, SG is definitely the place to be!

It was amazing with plenty to see and do.
It was amazing with plenty to see and do. The light shows at Clark Quay, Marina Bay Sands and Gardens by the Bay are all worth seeing. The Gardens by the bay are a must see, but make sure you pick a nice day and not when they're doing maintenance.
I was there when Taylor Swift was playing at the Sands, it made Singapore really busy and everywhere you went one of her songs was playing, best to avoid if you're not a fan.
I was there for 4 nights, 5 days and found it to be too long, I'm not in to shopping, but if you are then the orchard road is a must.
The open air food places are brilliant, so much to choose from and of course, no trip to Singapore would be complete without a Singapore Sling in Raffles.
We have stayed at so many hotels in Singapore. Royal Plaza on Scotts was by far the VERY BEST. The reception staff were very courteous and check in was fast. The room was large and very clean. The king size bed was wonderful. The toilet had all the amenities we needed. The breakfast had a lot of choices and the staff were very helpful. The location of the hotel was superb. Right in the heart of the shopping and also great places to eat. We truly enjoyed our stay at Royal Plaza on Scotts.
This is my 3rd time staying at the Sofitel City Center hotel. I am glad that I chose your hotel for this business trip that last for a week, thanks to the help of your staff team. Over the past two decades, I have stayed at many prestigious hotels in Singapore. Nowadays, the quality of facility and hardware of 4 to 5-star hotels is not very different. What differentiates a hotel from others is the quality of the service which cannot be delivered without great staff.
Hotel was basic but great for what we paid, we used it as a stop over between flights and having stayed in Singapore earlier during the holiday this hotel is a little bit far from main attractions but looked like it had lots of local restaurants to try. The bed was quite hard and personally I don’t think I could have taken it for more than one night but for the price, if you are looking for a basic room in Singapore this does the trick!
The hotel is new and located in the city center. Nearby is the MRT & bus station, which is very convenient to go by public transport. The most unique point is the spacious room, 30m2, which is a lot bigger than other hotels in Singapore. The staff is very thoughtful to prepare a small gift for my honeymoon stay as well. Got nothing to complain about this stay. Definitely will recommend to my family and friends.
Rooms are small but fine if you’re not carrying a ton of luggage. Bathrooms are tiny, but I’ve stayed in expensive “boutique” hotels in Europe that are the same. The building is quite new, so everything was in good condition. The location is great for experiencing a funkier, less gleaming side of Singapore, with tons of street side restaurants a minute’s walk away.
As with a lot of hotels in a Singapore, they recognise the importance of customer service and the hotel has excellent staff. The decor is plush, modern and user-friendly. The location was fine for where we needed to go, and the room itself was suitably quiet and a decent size. There were no issues, and we would stay there again, especially with the late checkout.
the staff was very helpful from the first moment we arrived. The location is in Geylang neighborhood which is not too far from the Marina area but still not walking distance.
As a neutral point, even though the room wasn't cheap, it had a better rate than other hotels in Singapore which is a very expensive country by the way.
Beautifully appointed room with all the trimmings! Automatic shades, great lighting features, Toto toilet, a bar with ready to go Negroni, Singapore Sling and old fashioned.
Great rooftop pool area and efficient pool service via the hotel app.
Located right near the light show.
Spectacular hotel with exceptional staff, food, attention to detail. It's wonderfully located for Singapore's great public transport - everywhere is accessible by bus or underground train (the MRT) - using a contactless Mastercard or Visa. The gym and pool are especially good.
This is a beautiful hotel, big room, very clean. Nice bathroom. Breakfast buffet very good. Location across from a mall with restaurants and shopping.
Also close to the hop on hop off bus which we used to go to Marina Sands and other stops around Singapore.
Location was good and staff were friendly. Super close
To 2 MRT stations and a bus stop. It was a cheap stay compared to other hotels in Singapore. If you need somewhere just to sleep and are busy most of the day then it’s fine.
All the staff were helpful and friendly. The room was larger than most other hotels in Singapore (as far as we could find from our search). The bathroom was spacious. The pools were lovely, there is a great kids’ water play area.
Compared to the prices of other hotels in Singapore, it was definitely a decent hotel. The hotel is accommodated in a less "perfect" area of Singapore, but it did not feel unpleasant. For a short stay it's enough.
This capsule hotel met my need when I was traveling through Singapore for two days. The room was comfortable and clean. It was very compact, but had everything I needed for my time there.
Very convenient , close to Changi Airport, easy to get to the hotel with public transportation. Front Office staff was very nice and provided all information, Our family love this hotel.
excellent location, 5 mins to bra basah mrt and bugis mrt. near to many restaurants and eateries. rooms are spacious as compared to many hotels in Singapore, clean as well
Finding affordable accommodations is difficult in Singapore, and YaJu Hotel was a good place to stay for the price. Restaurants and bus were within easy walking distance.
Great location, very close to 2 metro stations. Friendly concierge and housekeeping. Toilets have bidets, which is uncommon in most hotels in Singapore. Fairly priced.
Clean. modern and comfortable. Bit expensive but most hotels in Singapore are on the pricy side. The room was well appointed and modern. Good breakfast
