Everything was top quality. Lovely room which overlooked an open park.
Decor was very different. Some interesting photos, pictures and ornaments. It is a bit of a walk to main town but we went via the Candie Gardens which are lovely. Up hill coming back!

St Peter Port is an excellent base to stay. Plenty of eateries, shops, pubs. The bus service was brilliant with the bus pass, very cheap and easy to use, and the buses ran very efficiently. Public conveniences plentiful and FREE too!
Excellent local boat services offered i.e. HERM. Free outside swimming pools nearby with changing/shower facilities.
Would highly recommend St. Peter Port.

Not as good as I thought it would be.
Not as good as I thought it would be. Most of the restaurants are generic with low quality food. The exceptions are The Ship and Crown and another one a little further along whose name I have forgotten but which serves Michelin Star quality food. The bus service to the rest of the island is excellent and the drivers are like tourist guides. They are so friendly and helpful. Personally, buses are the best way to get around Guernsey. Bikes are OK, but definitely not car. Shops and cafes are a bit basic. The best thing about Guernsey by far is the south coast which should be discovered by taking the bus to the start (or halfway) and walking the rest of the way. Many of the secluded beaches and bays can only be reached by foot and one only has ladder access. Stunning scenery at every turn.

St Peter Port is lovely lively as long as you can cope with the steep slopes. Plenty of fish restaurants , we ate at Pier 17 and several smaller cafes . Lots of history to take in ,the local people are very friendly. An excellent bus service. The Millennium tapestry is fascinating and there is the castle too. We were lucky enough to be there for liberation day ,A public holiday with a parade through the town and a service of remembrance.... A colourful fun relaxed day with everyone enjoying a public holiday.

Plenty of small independent shops, interesting lanes and alleys. Constant activity in the extensive harbour. A range of eateries all along the esplanade with great views., picked a different ones night. Everything easily accessible on foot (if you don't mind hills and cobbles!).
Too much scaffolding and major building work: maybe finished by summer?

St Peter Port is the main town on the Island ....
St Peter Port is the main town on the Island .... It overlooks the harbour and has views of Herm and Sark and the town Marina ... There are plenty of shops cafes and restaurants ..... You can get day trips to the other islands depending on the weather and time of the year ,,,,
I enjoyed my stay a lot. The hotel has been a hotel since the 1800’s (cool). The hotel is charming, comfy, the grounds and garden area are awesome (and have a pool and hottub outdoors), the breakfast is great, the staff is lovely. Don’t expect a 5 star hotel, but this has a lot more personality. As well, even though it’s not in downtown (and therefore is way more affordable) the bus is right outside and comes every few minutes so it’s super easy to get around without a car. I would define stay here again and recommend.
The staff were exceptionally helpful, friendly and professional. I have a medical condition causing me to have a vegan/GF diet which was very well catered for. The hotel is not far from the main access to town although there is a bit of a hill to get to it. Beautiful gardens to sit in, lovely public seating areas. The rooms are varied and spread over 3 floors. Will definitely book the Pandora the next time we plan a trip to Guernsey.
The hotel is ideally situated on the coast, with superb sea views, yet is only 20 mins on a regular bus service to the centre of St Peter Port. The facilities are very good, the rooms are well kept and the public areas and grounds immaculately maintained. The staff are a well organised team, who work well together as a friendly group to make a stay here a very relaxing and enjoyable experience.
Staff where very helpful and friendly, I had a single room, but unlike many hotels the room had a wonderful view over the castle and surrounding islands Herm in particular is worth a visit the hotel has an old world charm which it should considering it’s next to victor hugos house but the room was scrupulously clean...the evening meal was amazing
The staff were outstanding and the room was exquisite.
The views from the rooms are out of this word.
The suite is modern and very comfortable.
The location is central and although there are a few steps into town, you will find this with any hotel as St Peter Port is at the base of a hill.
This hotel should really be a 5 star in my opinion
Good location, clean and comfortable. I booked it because it was much cheaper than the other hotels for that day and was expecting it to be quite run down and needing updating, but I was very pleasantly surprised. The breakfast basket was very cute with 2 crossiants, butter, jam, 2 packets of cereal and 2 yogurts.
The view from the room was superb, on the top of the hill overlooking the sea and the Cornet castle
The room was immaculate and the bed very comfortable
The breakfast is an experience - not the usual continental hotel breakfast, it is much more elevated and it has an extended hot menu to choose from
The hotel was spotless and the staff very attentive, helpful and friendly. The breakfast suited all tastes, continental or a choice of various hot alternatives. The evening meals were excellent and wine choices. We shall definitely return again. One of the best hotels we've stayed at. 10 out of 10
Plenty of room in the bedroom king size bed great view it was the premiere room in the hotel to dress in areas separate toilet separate bathroom with bath and shower double sink. Supplies slippers dressing gowns tea coffee water and sparkling water what more could you want.
The location if the hotel is exceptional with a view over the bay and the islands of Herm and Sark. The staff were very friendly and attentive. The breakfast and dinner in the restaurant were good, with the extra bonus of cakes and desserts that are out of this world.
It was in a good location near a bus stop into St Peter Port. The staff were exceptionally helpful and polite. The breakfast was delicious with a lot of choice. The grounds were attractive with a lake and fountain.
Breakfast & location good. Hotel had bus stops just outside & was within a short bus ride of the airport & St Peter Port. Management & breakfast staff very friendly, pleasant & helpful.
Just about adequate for one night but greatly overpriced compared to three other hotels we stayed at during our 10 days on Guernsey and Sark. Breakfast was good and room was clean.
Hotel is in a great location, staff were friendly and helpful. Room was very clean and comfortable, fresh milk was a bonus! Great night's sleep and a good selection at breakfast.
the staff were exceptional, cheerful, friendly and very helpful. Have stayed in hotels all over the world but this group of staff were definitely the best ever.
